What is Cub Scouts?

Welcome to Cub Scouts

We provide ready-made opportunities for your family to do fun things together—because together—we can all grow into our very best future selves!

We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge. Learn more about the aims and benefits of Cub Scouting, by visiting our Cub Scout Pack 439 Homepage!

What is Scouts BSA?

SETTING A COURSE FOR ADVENTURE

Some kids avoid obstacles. Scouts overcome them!

Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls in fifth grade through high school that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.

In Scouts BSA, young men and women go places, testthemselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else.

Scouts BSA is designed to be experienced outdoors but also has a STEM component. While hiking, camping, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting are all offered and bring Scouts into the great outdoors, young men and women with a drive for science will learn to develop and hone those skills as well. The Boy Scouts of America’s STEM initiative encourages the natural curiosity of youth members and their sense of wonder about these fields through existing programs.

There is something for everyone in Scouting!
